The agreemen is operative, according to the current Italian news:

Fiat announced that it has reached an agreement with the Veba whereby the Lingotto acquires the remaining 41.4616% of Chrysler. Against the sale of its stake in Chrysler Group, Veba will receive a total of € 3.65 billion dollars: an extraordinary dividend that Chrysler Group will pay to all shareholders, for a total of approximately 1.9 billion dollars.

I'm more surprised Bill Gates didn't threw in the money for Chrysler, during the Carpocalypse, to transform Chrysler into some sort of Microcar.

Yes, because we went there for the girls. Actually our soldiers were nicknamed by the Greeks "the s'agapo Army" ( I love you , in Greek), because those were the only Greek words known by our soldiers. And thanks to that and to the siege of Cephalonia , we didn't left too bad a memory of us.
